Meet Dr. Sarah N. Kim, MD, MPH, FACS
Dr. Sarah Kim is a board-certified general surgeon serving the North Texas area. Originally from North Carolina, she has made Texas her home since 2014. As a Park Scholar, she double majored in Biochemistry and Microbiology at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She attended medical school at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. During medical school, she also completed a Masters in Public Health at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. She has participated in several medical service trips abroad to Central America and Africa. She completed her general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where she received a broad spectrum of training from trauma surgery to minimally invasive robotic surgery. She enjoys cooking, travel, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Dr. Kim is board-certified through the American Board of Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
